Fall Dumpster Days

Will be held on Friday, October 17 from 8-4

And Saturday, October 18 from 8 – 4 or until dumpster is full!

🚫 Hazardous & Prohibited Items

These items are typically banned from dumpsters across most municipalities:

Chemicals & Liquids

• Paints & Thinners (unless completely dried)
• Bleach, Ammonia, and other household cleaners
• Motor oil, transmission fluid, brake fluid
• Gasoline, diesel, kerosene, lighter fluid
• Adhesives (wet glue, resins, liquid cement)
• Pesticides, herbicides, and pool chemicals

Pressurized & Flammable Items

• Propane or butane tanks
• Aerosol cans (even if partially used)
• Fireworks, ammunition, explosives

• Batteries (especially car and lithium batteries)

Appliances

• Refrigerators, freezers, air conditioners (contain refrigerants like Freon)
• Hot water heaters (risk of explosion due to gas buildup)

Medical & Biohazard Waste

• Needles, sharps, soiled bandages
• Any infectious or biohazardous materials

Other Prohibited Items

• Tires (require special recycling)
• Railroad ties or chemically treated wood
• Contaminated soil
